Bayside Demolition Pty Ltd

Bayside Demolition has been in operation for over 14 years, operating throughout Victoria including Ballarat, Melbourne and the surfcoast. The company is ISO certified, its founding director has over 25 years of experience in demolition, and its senior leadership team has a combined 115 years of experience; over 80% of its work comes from repeat clients.

Services include commercial and residential demolition, asbestos removal, and soil remediation and recycling.

Homeowners planning knock-downs and renovations in Geelong have repeatedly turned to this demolition contractor, and the feedback centres on how smoothly those projects were handled. Shaun McCormack is named often, with customers describing him as reliable and easy to deal with, organising the work when promised so timelines could be planned with confidence.

Partial demolitions, full house removals and masonry wall takedowns appear in the accounts, including a wall brought down by council order and a frame that proved worse than expected, where temporary propping was installed quickly to keep the job safe. Clear communication before and during the work is a point that comes up often, alongside quick responses to queries and flexibility as plans shifted. Reviews regularly refer to competitiveness on price, professionalism across the knockdown process and sites left clean and tidy afterwards.

Asbestos audits and removal prior to renovation are also described, with attention given to recycling materials where possible. Casey and Jamie are singled out for keeping work running smoothly and going beyond expectations, while Simon is praised as a diligent worker. It is this combination of a knowledgeable crew, careful handling of the unexpected and a tidy finish that customers return to, with several engaging the team for a second demolition job.
