We used Democorp when we knocked down and rebuilt. They were good then but they have been completing a knock down across the road from us. I can’t speak more highly of these guys who were doing the job. They locked the gate every time they went in and out to protect the public, sweep the road when the big trucks left dirt and even flattened the footpath grass where the truck made a groove. These people went above and beyond, an excellent company to do your knock down.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Save yourself the massive headache and a lot of extra money by staying far away from James Owner of Democorp. Working with James has been an absolute nightmare. He is profoundly unprofessional and incredibly rude. The moment you question the quality of his work or try to ask about the ridiculous, hidden "extra charges" he suddenly comes up with, he completely loses his temper. Instead of handling things like a professional business owner, he resorts to screaming and using vile, profane language. It is completely unacceptable to be spoken to the way he speaks to clients. He uses bullying tactics to try and force you to pay for things that were never agreed upon. Do yourself a huge favor and find a legitimate, respectful demolition company. Dealing with James will only cost you more money, endless stress, and a massive headache.
Would recommend Democorp to friends and family. Throughout the entire demolition process, Democorp were professional, provided the best quote amongst other companies and went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and was completed on time. Special thanks to Belinda and James.
One of the most unprofessional people I have interacted with. I called to get a quote for home demolition and James said used profane language within the context of what should have been a professional and short interaction. Would strongly avoid. Quite frankly shocked and disgusted. Edit: Upon checking his reviews, multiple people have the same underquoting and bad attitude concerns.
Absolutely appalling attitude from James, the owner of Demo Corp. I asked for 2 simple quotes and was told he wouldn’t “split up the work to save money” because it was “a waste of his time.” Seriously? It’s just a quote request, not rocket science. That’s not how you treat potential customers. Rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, if this is how he handles enquiries, imagine dealing with him on an actual job. AVOID Demo Corp completely.
I had the pleasure of working with Democorp Australia recently, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. James and Belinda were both incredibly professional and easy to work with, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
