Liberty Industrial

Liberty Industrial is an international deconstruction and remediation contractor that has carried out some of the largest and most complex projects in the mining, oil and gas, energy and defence sectors. Its services include closure studies, deconstruction, decommissioning on and off-shore, dismantling, water treatment plant design and operation, and asbestos and hazardous material removal.

The company delivered blasts as part of the Gove Refinery Demolition Project for Rio Tinto, and won Explosive Demolition Project of the Year at the 2024 World Demolition Awards for its Northern Producer Decommissioning Project. It also won Industrial Demolition Project of the Year at the same awards for the Argyle Diamond Mine Closure, where it used an advanced high-reach excavator fleet, specialist equipment and refined recycling processes.

Liberty Industrial, working out of the Sydney district, operates as a civil engineer and demolition contractor. Its two accounts take markedly different directions. One describes the team as technical experts who know their industry and sees the company heading places on a global stage, an endorsement of the specialist knowledge brought to civil and demolition work.

The other account questions the honesty of the company's hiring practices and calls that process unprofessional. The praise and the concern address entirely separate sides of the business, so no single theme runs through both. The civil engineer subtype aligns with the engineering and demolition disciplines referenced, though neither account names staff, projects, methods or equipment.
