Herbies Earthmoving

Herbies Earthmoving was established in 2012 by founding partners Herberto "Herbie" Miranda and Sharee Milonas, through a joint venture, and benefits from over 30 years of combined industry experience. The company has contributed to landmark developments and civil engineering projects in Brisbane. Sharee Milonas manages the company's administrative processes and accounts, having previously worked in her family's transport company in New Zealand.

Herbies Earthmoving provides wet hire of earthmoving machinery operated by subcontractors, who undergo a vetting process covering competencies, experience, licenses, insurances and OH&S credentials, and also supplies materials such as crusher dust, sand, gravel and aggregate.

Subdivision work, residential foundations and drainage projects recur throughout the feedback for Herbies Earthmoving in Brisbane, and reviewers consistently describe a team that follows through on its commitments. Consulting engineers and repeat clients with more than a decade of experience report that the quoted price is honoured, with one noting the office even rang around depots to secure a cheaper rate for concrete and dirt removal. Communication stands out as a theme, from the first phone call through to updates while the job is underway.

Operators such as Stirling, Andy, Chris and Paul Grisanti are named for their skill and care, with tricky access and complex sites handled by machinery suited to the task. Customers describe concrete and dirt removal, retaining wall demolition, gate and fence foundations, swale drainage, road building and road resurfacing, along with stones repositioned until the result suited. Punctuality and tidiness come up repeatedly, as does the speed of the work, with one four-day job finished in two. Staff are also praised for practical advice and for lending a hand with temporary fencing. The recurring theme is skilled operators who take pride in the finished result.
