Overall a poor experience with Brad and would not use again. - Tried to hit us with a $16,000 variation for asbestos removal that we got done through a separate contractor for $7,000 - Demands payment within 24 hours or threatens late payment charges - Asked for the final certificates multiple times for him to then request for ME to send HIM photos of the empty site for the Form 29 - His plumber capped a stormwater line and told us it was the sewer connection. When informed about this problem his response was 'what do you want me to do about it, I'm just in the office' Use at your own risk

Outstanding! We would highly recommend Demolition Services for any demolition work. We obtained 6 quotes to demolish our house and Demolition Services was 10% below the next lowest quote and 20% below the average quote. Within 24 hours of me advising we were ready for work to start, Brad's team were on site and completed the job in 2 days. The site was completely clean after completion and we were extremely happy with the quality of the job. It is not very common to find services of this quality and we would highly recommend Brad and his team.

Think DS- Asked for a deposit for job, increased price by 10 k twice, then Brad said he cannot do it. I asked to refund the deposit of $4800 and he said he will do it tonight. 6 weeks later, i have called hime every single day with out fail, he has not answerd phone calls ignored myl emals sent to him everyday. Mate do you mind responding to my emails or please refund the deposit. You have not done any work. I understand you must be busy. And i hope you read this review.

Would never use DS/ Decon again. First quote after we signed contract was less than $30k. Next quote increased $10k which we accepted. The part that wasn’t acceptable is when we called to question a breakdown of the increase we were met with ‘you’ve signed the contract’ We had a delay with site prep and understandably they rescheduled us for 4 weeks later but then didn’t turn up on the day scheduled. Also didn’t communicate. I had to constantly follow up. Finally turned up a week later. I have done this before and with previous contractors they gave an estimate in asbestos contamination once found (example we have aprox ?Tonnage of contamination which will cost about $$). Yes asbestos removal is expensive but Decon have you stitched up in a contract. They just give you a list of possible costs then hit you with the outcome bill once completed. They also can’t follow/read your site plan. They cut the block incorrectly resulting in increased site costs to fix what had been done. (More coats) Short version. - choose a different demolition company as demolition has so many unknowns so communication is everything. Quote 1 - $28k and deposit paid Quote 2 - $37k End cost - $ $66k Oh and whilst communication is non existent, Brad the owner is very quick to remind you to pay immediately to ‘avoid late fees’ (24 hours to pay) Also note we contacted some other demolition places during this process and one gave us some interesting feedback ‘we hear this a lot about Decon and we have had to pick up jobs they don’t turn up for’ Disappointing experience.

From the first phone call - right the way through to completing my demolition on time - I was very impressed by their level of service ... its rare I feel the need to write a review however these guys are a real 10/10 and totally recommend them ... this was my first house demolition and they made the process so easy and explained all the costs upfront ... and true to their word there weren't any hidden costs or fees which I was relieved about ... I wouldn't go anywhere else.
