Speedy Demolition

Speedy Demolition has over 25 years of experience in the demolition industry and provides house removal and demolition, carport and shed demolition, asbestos removal and commercial renovation services across Brisbane, South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The company is a member of Waste Management Australia and Workplace Safety Australia, and is licensed to transport and dispose of waste by the Department of Environment & Science.

Speedy Demolition recycles almost all material generated at its demolition sites, and supplies silt fencing and recycled gravel pits at its sites to help keep surrounding streets clean.

Speedy Demolition is a Brisbane demolition contractor whose customers describe a mix of experiences. Several reviewers highlight the skill and helpfulness of the crew, with one noting the impressive equipment on site and the speed at which work is completed. Michael is named for calling back and assisting with clearing a block and ensuring documents were properly executed, a theme running through the feedback is the value placed on a company that listens and follows up on issues. Positive accounts also mention outstanding work and a willingness to engage the service again.

More critical feedback centres on quoting and scheduling: one customer reports that a quote for a demolition job including plumbing capping changed when the plumber required a higher charge, and that a job booked months ahead was delayed by two weeks. The same account describes damage to property set aside and difficulty resolving repair quotes. Another reviewer expresses disappointment without detail, and one leaves a single-star rating with no explanation. The recurring theme across the feedback is that the hands-on demolition work and responsiveness are appreciated, while pricing consistency and timeliness are the main areas where experiences diverge.
