Hamblin Hire was established in 1978 by Bob Hamblin and was originally named Airport Handi Hire. It changed its name to Hamblin Handy Hire in 1980 and then to Hamblin Hire in 1986. Michael Hamblin joined the business in 1982, and Bob Hamblin retired in 1992. The business is now owned by Mike and Ursula Hamblin and is a locally owned and operated business serving Albury and surrounding areas.
Hamblin Hire is a licensed hydraulic equipment provider and a licensed scaffolding hire provider. It is an official sales and service agent for Wacker-Neuson light construction equipment. We've hired a few machines from these guys now, and every time they have been well priced, friendly, helpful and kind. When we had machine failures, they sent someone out to have a look within the hour, and then didn't charge us. They also gave us a call when the weather wasn't looking great, suggested we may be better off with a different machine due to rain, and gave us something better suited.

Really impressed with the service from Laura & the team at Hamblin Hire! A last minute call on Friday and thanks to their knowledge of equipment had me geared up to tackle my project. Great to see a family owned and operated business on the border, both Laura and her partner were working on Saturday and quickly swapped something over for me so I could keep going. Dealt with Hamblin Hire for years and have always been reasonably priced. Not now, absolutely over the top. I should’ve asked the hire cost, was stunned of the hire for a concrete core drill. $327 to hire for one 75mm hole. Contractor price to do it $250. Asked the question, otherwise you get ripped.
Laura from Hamblin hire has been an absolute breeze to work with. I have needed to hire a few things for my wedding and she has been so helpful along the way. Nothing is too big of an issue and no question is a silly question. The team are friendly and you can trust every recommendation they make. They have a great range to hire from.
