Fuge Earthworks

Fuge Earthworks was established in 1997 and services the Albury Wodonga and surrounding regions. The company has over 20 years' experience in mining and quarry works and operates a large fleet of well maintained, modern, safe and reliable machines. Its main services are civil contracting and quarry operations. Recent projects include car park construction, hardstand area, site cut and civil construction.

Albury work by Fuge Earthworks has drawn a mix of reactions. Three accounts are on record, and two of them speak warmly of the finished result, singling out the holes and driveways as well formed and describing the crew as genuinely pleasant to deal with. One of those reviewers names Pat, comments on his gravelly voice and rates the grading on the job as high, with a light-hearted aside about lubrication being an important part of the work.

The third account is sharply critical, describing earthworks at Gerogery as rough and the job left unfinished, with drainage work held up as a poor example of the trade. Because the rating sits below four, that dissatisfaction has to be acknowledged honestly: what comes through across the accounts is that the standard of the finished excavation and the grading, along with the friendliness of those on site, is the strong point, while one customer was left unhappy with a drainage project at Gerogery that was said to be incomplete.
