Mendelssohn Constructions

Mendelssohn Construction was founded by Trent Mendelssohn, who also founded the Mendelssohn Group of Companies and the Mendelssohn Trust. The company began working with clients in South Melbourne and Tasmania, and its staff hold qualifications including diplomas in building, work health and safety, project management and business, along with unrestricted Class A asbestos operator status. All construction works come with a 90-day defect warranty as standard, extending to one year for contracted works.

Mendelssohn Construction has specialist teams in commercial construction, asbestos removal and demolition.

In Launceston, Mendelssohn Constructions handles demolition contracting, excavating, asbestos testing and shopfitting from its Prospect base. The limited customer feedback available describes the team in strongly appreciative terms, with both reviewers expressing satisfaction with the outcome and the crew involved.

Their remarks centre on the people and the finished result rather than on specific methods or stages of work. The company works across demolition, excavation and asbestos testing, so a single contractor can manage several related tasks on a site. Its shopfitting service extends this scope into interior fit-out work, and the business operates from Trotters Lane in Prospect.
