Decon Developments Pty Ltd

Decon Developments Pty Ltd is a family-run business based in Launceston, offering demolition, asbestos removal, concrete removal and civil works for commercial and residential projects. The company has incorporated C2 Demolition, which had over 15 years of demolition experience, and was established by Nick Sherriff in December 2021 to specialise in the removal of Class A (friable) asbestos. Decon Developments is licensed to remove both friable and non-friable asbestos, is fully insured, and holds ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications.

Past projects include removal of the Super 6 asbestos roof at the former Coats Patons woollen mill in South Launceston.

A private customer in South Launceston describes an experience with Decon Developments Pty Ltd that falls outside normal service expectations, reporting that the company's workers were involved in an assault in a public place. The account states the incident was captured on video and shared on YouTube, where it attracted supportive comments, and the reviewer indicates they would not engage the company again.

The company is listed as an asbestos testing service, and no account addresses the quality of testing work, punctuality, quoting, communication or site tidiness. The single review offers no indication that any form of asbestos testing or related service met with approval.
