Chomp Excavation & Demolition

Chomp Excavation & Demolition is a family owned company based in Sydney, co-owned by brothers Andrew and Chris, known as the Chomp Brothers, with over 25 years of experience. It is a fully licensed and insured demolition and excavation contractor servicing metropolitan Sydney and beyond, holding the required licenses and certifications and complying with NSW regulations and OH&S safety standards.

The Chomp team has worked on thousands of demolition and asbestos removal projects, as well as earthwork and excavation packages, and has experience working with many Tier 1 building companies.

Chomp Excavation & Demolition carries out demolition, excavation and asbestos-related work around Sydney, and the feedback points consistently to a professional, well-organised operation. Customers writing about their orders describe communication that begins with the initial enquiry and continues right through the project, with clear updates and a readiness to accommodate changes along the way.

Punctuality comes up often: crews are said to arrive when promised and to finish within the agreed timeframe, in one case completing a house demolition in two days to meet a tight schedule. An observation shared by more than one reviewer is the care taken with machinery, including precision work around footings and preparation for concrete pours, as well as the safe removal of asbestos-laden fibro and the clearing of debris and vegetation, leaving sites level and tidy.

Chris and Andrew are named for being approachable and professional, and the wider team is described as friendly, hard-working and respectful. Fair, competitive pricing is another recurring theme, with clients noting that the quoted amount matched the final cost. Reviewers also highlight how problems were handled calmly and without fuss, and how the crew remained obliging throughout. The result is a contractor that customers describe as reliable and thorough from the first stage of a project to the last.
