Don’t care about anything other than taking your money. Does the bare minimum in the most inconvenient times possible. If you have bad relationships with previous or future Neighbours would recommend though as after using this Mob you have ruined all future interactions

I would not recommend DeJay Contracting based on our experience. When they demolished the property next door, we received less than three hours’ notice before works commenced. After the initial demolition, the site was then left unattended for almost two months. During that time, the property was not adequately secured, and homeless people were regularly accessing and living on the site. Given the property’s history, this was extremely concerning. Despite numerous phone calls, we were repeatedly told that “someone will be out today,” but nothing changed. The lack of communication and follow-through was incredibly frustrating. We lodged multiple complaints with SafeWork SA due to our concerns. When work finally resumed, the professionalism of the workers was disappointing. Their vehicles blocked access to our property, preventing our bins from being collected, and they only moved after being directed to do so by the council. We also have CCTV footage showing workers sitting on our front lawn smoking, extinguishing cigarette butts on our lawn, throwing screws into our grass, and laughing while doing so. We also captured footage of broken tree branches being thrown from the neighbouring property into our yard. There were also occasions where heavy machinery started operating at around 6:00 am, well before the permitted commencement time, causing unnecessary disturbance to neighbouring residents. Overall, our experience was one of poor communication, inadequate site management, and a complete lack of respect for neighbouring properties. If DeJay Contracting is undertaking work next to your home, I would strongly recommend keeping a close eye on your property and documenting any issues that arise.

Damaged my property while demolishing the neighbours house, refused to try resolve or even inspect the damage, denied all responsibility. Wouldn't even pass on their insurance to determine who's at fault, only after contacting safework did I receive a message telling me that wasn't necessary. Thankfully my insurance proved it was dejay contracting fault.

i recently used Dejay Contracting for demolition works and couldn’t be happier with the service provided. The team was professional, efficient, and completed the job safely and on schedule. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and the site was left clean and tidy once the work was finished. A special mention goes to Aleks, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer questions and keep me informed. His professionalism and attention to detail gave me complete confidence throughout the project. I highly recommend Dejay Contracting to anyone needing demolition services. Great workmanship, great communication, and an overall outstanding experience.

Few delays, looks like its standard in todays market, but overall great service and quality of works. Will definitely use Dejays again, thank you.

Steer clear. Lots a promises with no results. DeJay quickly put up a temporary fence then left the site untouched for over 10 weeks, every 2 weeks we enquired we were told "someone will be there next week or 2, we're a little behind" In that time frame the property copped unauthorised rubbish dumping & vandalism and cost us thousands in rescheduling surveyors, plumbers to fixed the damage water meter, dump fees and price rises that occurred in that time. We eventually cancelled our contract with DeJay and went with a competitor who completed the job swiftly. Talking to other demolition competitors it appears we're not alone with experiencing DeJay's lack of communication with no result to show for it. We only ask that if you are THAT far behind, be honest with your clients.

I would not recommend this company due to the few bad experiences I had with them. First they took over 4 months to finally demolish my house property. This has caused delays in start of construction of investment properties thus loss of income. Second, they damaged the neighbours side fence due to house brick wall falling towards the neighbours boundary instead of within my property. Luckily the neighbours children were not in that area and that only the fence and not garden shed was also damaged. After some discussion and persuasion they agreed to repair side fence, but after 4 weeks they never came to repair the fence and was up to me to make the repairs. Third, after demolition the site was not left clean. The top soil had large amounts of broken bricks, tiles, broken timbers etc. Forth, after all these issues the invoice amount was increased by almost $2000 which included a 5% fuel levy. Not happy Jan.
