Wollongong Asbestos | Asbestos Removal Sutherland Shire and Wollongong

Sydney Asbestos was founded by Art Protsin, who is based in the Sutherland Shire and brings over 13 years of experience in the construction and demolition industry. The company is licensed and qualified by the NSW Government to handle and remove asbestos from domestic and commercial properties, and holds a Class B Bonded Asbestos Removal Licence and $10 million in public liability insurance.

It services Sutherland Shire, Wollongong, the Eastern Suburbs, Western Sydney, and Camden and Macarthur.

Asbestos fencing, cladding and eaves removal dominates the work described in feedback, including a job where roughly sixty metres of fence was taken down within hours of the team arriving. Art is named frequently as the driving force behind the operation, and his punctuality, straightforward messaging and methodical handling of fences and retaining structures are recurring points of praise. Pricing is repeatedly described as competitive or reasonable, with one customer noting the cost came in well below a separate quotation obtained beforehand.

Paperwork also comes up often, as clearance certificates and neighbour notification documentation are issued without delay once removal is complete. Customers consistently report that the work is performed safely and thoroughly with little disruption, and that the site, including gardens, is left clean and orderly afterwards. The team is characterised as pleasant and professional, whether stripping a full house of sheeting or completing smaller domestic jobs. Responsiveness is another theme, with one account describing attendance within twelve hours of advertising the task, and another confirming an intention to re-engage Art for future fibro work.
