Spectran Group is a Tasmanian civil construction and environmental management company, established more than 20 years ago and 100% locally owned and operated. It employs over 200 staff across Tasmania and provides civil construction, demolition and asbestos management, traffic management, transport and logistics, and environmental waste services.
The company expanded in 2010 into licensed waste management, contaminated land services, hazardous materials remediation and environmental management, and owns and operates Tasmania's only EPA-licensed undercover storage facility for contaminated soils and bulk liquid products.

Spectran I followed your truck today licence plate barely visible but started with FX from Kingston to margate where it pulled over at Banjos approx 12pm. The truck was full of paper and cardboard waste and there was paper and cardboard flying out of the container on the truck, onto the road from Kingston to margate. The load should have had netting over it to stop it from littering the channel highway. Very poor form on your company’s behalf.
Spectan Group was prompt with their job. They came right next day after the call, assessed our house, and immideately started their work! Zach, our asbestos removal guy, was absolutely kind, efficient, and knowledgable! I highly recommened Spectran Group for asbestos removal!
To the driver of vehicle (ute) FS 8182 who tail gated me for many kilometres on a country road, Malcolm's Hut Rd, Richmond Rd to Cambridge Rd where you forced me to let you by, Sir, I am really perplexed that the industry you are working in, being read safety materials, signs and cones on your truck, to promote safety, I am at a loss to your reckless behaviour. Being so close and having me looking at your in the mirror when my car sensors went off, I think we missed the 60 road works sign where we both sped until I saw the second reminder. I’ve had all my points since 1995 and think of a licence to drive a privilege and not a right. Leave home 10 minutes warlier! People I've heard in old 4 x 4 just slam on their brakes to teach a lesson, will this work for you? Let's hope. Hugo
One of your employees (in a business car) just tail gated me along the brooker (I was doing the speed limit) and then stared me down when they overtook. Not a good look for a business.
We engaged the Spectran Group to remove asbestos from a residential house pre-demolition. The Spectran Group were nothing but courteous, fastidious, efficient and completed the task to the highest quality. We would certainly recommend The Spectran Group for any asbestos removal & would gladly use them again.
