Matko Hire

Matko Hire has been servicing Warrnambool and South West Victoria for over 10 years. The business is 100% locally owned and operated. Equipment hire is offered to home handymen, trade professionals, councils, shires and large companies. An on-time delivery service is provided across the South West.

All equipment is serviced after every hire. In the event of a breakdown, Matko Hire will immediately repair or exchange the item. The hire range includes access equipment, earthmoving equipment, garden and landscaping equipment, generators, builders equipment, painting and plumbing equipment, party and event hire, and sand and soil.

Matko Hire has built a reputation in Warrnambool for helpful, knowledgeable service across equipment hire, earth works and landscaping supplies. Customers writing about their orders describe the team at the front counter as easy to deal with, friendly and always ready to help, with one noting that even after-hours problems with a hired generator were handled promptly and effectively. Reviewers repeatedly mention how quickly items such as trailers, freezers and machinery are sorted, often within minutes of arriving, and that staff take the time to show customers how to use equipment safely.

The range of supplies, including sand and gravel, comes up as a practical drawcard, with deliveries arranged to outlying properties when needed. Customers also value the reliable condition of hired gear, saying they have had no issues with the items on multiple occasions. A recurring theme is the willingness to go out of the way to solve last-minute requirements, whether sourcing a generator at short notice or dropping off and collecting equipment. The knowledgeable advice and cheerful attitude of the crew keep people returning for both small and large jobs, and the helpfulness of the front-of-house team is a point that comes up often.
