Jim's Diggers
About the company
Jim's Diggers is part of the Jim's Group, which started as a part-time gardening business and was franchised in 1989; the group now has nearly 5,500 franchisees across four countries. All work is done by licensed operators and franchisees, with no company-owned businesses in the network.
Jim's Diggers provides operators with mini diggers, mini loaders, bobcat loaders and excavators, with attachments including augers, chain trenchers, rock and concrete breakers and rotary hoes.
What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Jim's Diggers' Melbourne reviewers deal with a range of independent operators under the franchise banner, including Jeff, Davide, Vitor, Tapan and Aidan, each praised for manoeuvring a dingo or excavator into tight backyard spaces for landscaping-adjacent digging work.
One reviewer needed sand removed and received same-day service, while another describes a treadmill-style urgent job turned around the next day with photos provided of the finished work. The consistent theme is small, single-operator jobs booked quickly and completed with visible care for surrounding gardens and property.
