Coast 2 Coast Earthmoving

Coast 2 Coast Earthmoving is a family owned business with over 50 years of service and offices in Gold Coast, Brisbane/Ipswich and Sunshine Coast. It offers a fleet of over 200 machines for wet hire, including excavators from 1 to 30 tonnes, bobcats, posi-tracks, tippers and combos.

Services include machine hire and excavation, truck hire and material deliveries, and site preparation. The company has also built boulder seawalls along the Southeast Queensland coast for more than 50 years.

Feedback for Coast 2 Coast Earthmoving on the Sunshine Coast is mixed, and recurring themes emerge across the fourteen usable reviews. Positive accounts focus on the friendliness and helpfulness of office staff, with several customers describing the team as easy to deal with and the rates as fair. One detailed account notes that Chris inspected a site promptly after an enquiry, provided a competitive quote, and that the operator arrived when promised and completed the block cut for a house pad within the estimated timeframe. Soil removal and land preparation are the jobs most often mentioned, and reviewers repeatedly highlight professional, honest service from start to finish.

A further point that comes up often is the company's willingness to offer advice and equipment for earthworks. Alongside this praise, criticism recurs in the lower-rated reviews. Customers report unreliable scheduling, describing no-shows and subsequent attempts to charge additional hours. One account alleges a machine with less capacity than ordered and unexpected charges including tip fees and an admin fee. Another describes concrete left on site after a slab-breaking job and preparation that was not suitable for a level pour, requiring a different operator to finish the work.
