Busby House Removal, Demolition and Asbestos

Busby Demolition, Asbestos and House Removals is a family-owned business established in 1989 and has been operating for over 30 years. It was the first in Central Queensland to be awarded a Class A Asbestos License.

The company has worked across Queensland in the mining, civil and local government arenas, as well as for private property owners. Its services include demolition, asbestos removal, and house removals. Completed projects include Browne Park in Rockhampton, Longreach School of Distance Education, and Rockhampton Airport.

House lifting and removal work around Rockhampton draws mixed feedback, and the themes that surface most often concern communication and how problems are resolved. Several reviewers describe being kept informed through each stage of a house relocation, and the crew's friendly and efficient approach earns praise, with Jacob singled out by name. Helpful guidance on relocating a dwelling is mentioned more than once, as is the willingness of staff to give time to queries. Quotes for removing multiple sheds are described as reasonable, and dealings by phone and email come across as polite.

One household notes that extra costs were reimbursed after unexpected issues and remains pleased with the finished outcome. Recurring complaints, on the other hand, centre on scheduling, with a lengthy wait before work began and a final bill that exceeded the original figure, alongside communication gaps affecting a neighbouring property's drainage. A separate account describes promised callbacks that failed to eventuate and a product sold to another buyer, and these criticisms of follow-through and billing appear across more than one review.
