Affinity Asbestos Services

Affinity Asbestos Services was founded by Jack Van der Klugt in 2021, bringing over 10 years of experience in hazardous material handling.

Testing samples are sent to an accredited laboratory for asbestos fibre identification by the National Association of Testing Authorities, and asbestos waste is transported to licensed facilities using the company's environmental waste transporter licence.

Gold Coast asbestos removal work is what customers consistently describe when recounting their experiences with this operator. Jack is named repeatedly, portrayed as approachable, responsive and willing to offer clear guidance on what needs to be done before work begins. Crews are said to arrive when arranged, walk through the removal process and complete jobs efficiently, whether the task involves gutting wardrobes, taking down a crumbling asbestos fence or clearing material from an old Queenslander.

Careful waste handling, tidy sites and thorough clean-ups are mentioned again and again, with one account noting the property was left cleaner than it had been beforehand. Fair pricing, close attention to detail and regular progress updates, including photographs, also feature prominently. Quick turnaround on removal work is a further point that comes up often, as are clearance certificates supplied on the day of completion. The tone remains even throughout: friendly, organised and honest operators who avoid shortcuts, handling both asbestos removal and demolition with the right equipment and a methodical approach to each site.
